i put in my ps3s IP address like you're supposed to, I put in the Username--- FTPD12345, I left the password blank (Like i have every other time) and put the port as 21, yet now Filezilla is claiming I need a password..Someone please help!

Use blackb0x instead of PS3 ftp server and just enter the PS3 ip in filezilla and press connect

maybe you have ur ps3 is conected to other network, i think lol, but i recommend you to use blackb0x like my friend on top says

blackbox doesn't have port and username is FTPD012345

the other FTP is FTP012345 port 21 that's it

Its FTPD12345, there is no 0, ive done it 100's of time before, and i tried with blackb0x no username/ pass and it just changes the blank username to anonymous and asks for a password

blackb0x doesnt ask for a password just put ip in filezilla, not even port is needed and press connect, it will fill username with "anonymous" and password with something "**********"

Thats weird... Try deleting filezilla and downloading it again.

Thats what I do when my patch_mp.ff files dont work.
