(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok, so I put the PL3 payload on my calculator using the PS Jailbreak .08 and was able to jailbreak my ps3 and install retail updates no problem. So, today i tried putting on a ne MW2 patch using the FTP server, and when I went to play mw2, it was still a regular patch and nothing had changed. So I figured it was because of the Payload. So I took off the payload and pressed power, eject of my console and it would show on my calculator that it is jailbreaking, but then it says "disconn" and my ps3 looks like its on, but nothing shows on the screen and it wont let me turn off the ps3 unless I unplug it. The ps3 starts up fine in regular mode and using the Payload, however when I try to do a normal jailbreak, it wont turn on completely. I tried reformatting my ps3 and my calculator and it still doesn't work. Somebody PLEASE HELP ME!!!! Your help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

well its not because of your payload. u must have done something wrong when u put the patch on.

which patch are u using? and did u back up MW2 before putting the patch on?

Well I got the patch to work with the payload. But, I'm still wondering why now I can't jailbreak my ps3 without using that payload. Because when I take off the payload and jailbreak my ps3, It won't turn on all the way.

(P.S. it was because I forgot to reboot my ps3 after replacing the patch)

with which payload did u put the patch on? with PL3?

well its mostly because some payloads do not work, for me example i cant install pkgs with Hermes v4b, thats why i have to use PL3 to install the pkgs, but than some other Programs wont work with PL3, thats why i have to use Hermes v4b to run the programs.

With which payload ur PS3 wont start? and whit which payload did u get ur PS3 to work/ get the patch working?

No.....I use the PL3 payload which works perfectly when installing pkgs.
However, when I take the payload off, my ps3 wont start up completely. Therefore, in order for my ps3 to successfully boot up, I need to either start it up normally or use a payload.

Than why do you not just use the PL3 payload /facepalm
