1. you need a fax machine (obviously)
2. you need adsl or adsl2+
3. if you have adsl or adsl2 test if your fax machine steals the phone line and disconnects your internet.
4. if it does you can use it as a lagswitch and if it doesnt you cant.
5. pick up the phone on the fax machine and hang it up after about 5 seconds while in game.
6. thats basically it, you can use it as a lagswitch.

I RECCOMEND YOU TO BUY A LAGSWITCH BECAUSE ITS 20x EASIER AND IT WILL DEFINETLY WORK, THE FAX MACHINE METHOD MIGHT NOT, SO DONT GO OUT BUYING A FAX MACHINE TRYING TO DO THIS. im not responsible for anything that happens to you, do at your own risk.
