My Laptop HDD Crashed on me a couple week's ago and is undergoing repair, and i had my Spare PS3 HDD (YLOD on Fat) so i took it and formatted it to work.

My Question is ... Is there a way i can clean up this Hard Drive, put it in the PS3 and install 3.50 and jailbreak it? Because it will be 100% empty and no content will be stored.

PS3 Model: Slim
PS3 HD Toshiba (Stock)
PS3 HDD Size: 250GB (Stock)

Unfortunately not. The firmware is stored on the chip not the hard drive its self. Sorry, your going to have to wait for another update to allow a downgrade or the jailbreak to work on 3.55. Hey there is the new exploit that is supposed to be discussed at the hackers convention. Will be interesting.
