well half of its legit you can downgrade from 3.50 but thy never showed downgrading from 3.55 (unless i missed that but :carling: )
So as of now dont believe the 3.55 downgrade is real or even exists until its on a reputable website

Well X3max is known to be full of shit, so i say for the jailbreak, debug console, for downgrade, real for 3.50, fake and gay if they say it works on 3.55 as sony revoked the .self needed for the downgrade, however if it doesn't need to be signed, which I'm not sure if the service mode .self files are, it may be possible to re-make them

Why would you want to downgrade? Do you not understand what is happening? They have the key! IF sony changes the key all games that were designed and have no full updating process will be utterly useless because the ps3 will reject there key. If sony would change the key they would be sued by so many companies they wouldn't recover tbh. Ps3 is the most hacked system right now. Soon kids will be passing out homebrew software on disc's/usbs. Forget jailbreaking!

yeah it's possible to downgrade from 3.50 but 3.55 downgrading is not possible yet.

As the ps3 is fully hacked now, custom firmwares will come out soon and downgrading is not nesscesary anymore

You can get into service mode on 3.55, but can't downgrade, however I'm not on 3.55 so i can't figure out what actually happens if you try to downgrade, i just know it doesn't work

hehe i though so. Once it's on service mode on 3.55 it's bricked i believe.

You can't get out of service mode once in on 3.55. So your bricked.
