(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Alright well I don't feel like wasting money on buying a brand new PS3 and worrying about it not being on 3.41 firmware, so I've been looking around on Kijiji (alternative eBay for Canada) for a 3.41 PS3 and I've found one. There is one major problem though: the system cannot read disks. Should I still bother buying this to jailbreak or no? I've heard of a way to jailbreak and put an MW2 patch onto your PS3 without a disk but I cannot find a thread related to it.

If anyone can help me with this issue it'd be much appreciated.
P.S. I would like 100% certain answers ONLY. No maybes, I want a clear yes or no from someone who knows what they're doing.

DONT buy a new Ps3 for hosting CL's, within a couple of hours there will probably be a way to get FTP server on a non-jailbroken Ps3.

Yes, but I'm not an amazing hacker but I know how to jailbreak and put a patch on. Wouldn't it be easier for me to just buy the 3.41, jailbreak it and get it over with rather than doing all of this homebrew bullsh*t?
All in all I just want to host challenge lobbies and want to know if I can do it without a disk. (on the 3.41 of course, I would data transfer to my 3.55 after)

Well you can just buy the jailbreak and /fail all you want; doesn't make it a logical decision whilst work is under way to make jailbreaking go bye-bye :bat:

Well I am trying to figure this out fast and you're not even answering the question: CAN YOU JAILBREAK AND PUT ON A MW2 PATCH WITHOUT A DISK?
