you have to put the files on the root of your usb meaning there cant be any other files on your usb then once you JB your ps3 put in the usb obviously while still in JB then it should work

the jailbreak dongle has a green light but when i insert the usb no package files folder comes up please add me on msn its [email][email protected][/email] does that mean thats its the usb or the jailbreaking device thats stuffing up

turn of ps3 at the wall plug the jailbreak in turn ps3 on then keep pushiing eject

hey, if ive downloaded and installed the CFW, how can i transfer a patch?

Need to wait until a signed FTP program is released

1) PS3 fat ~ Flip the switch at the back of the console to turn off all power the the PS3.
1) PS3 Slim ~ Unplug your PS3, either at the console its self or from the wall
2) Restore power to the console. (Flip switch or plug back in)
3) insert your JB device
4) press the power and eject buttons in that order quickly. If your JB you should see 2 extra option under the Game menu, if not you'll see an error box in the top right hand side saying an unknown USB device has been connected
5) Insert your other USB with the package file(s)
6) Goto Game->Install Package files than install the package file, I guess I restarted the console in JB after doing so before I ran the FTP, don't think you have to though.
7) Transfer the patch

to bad my jailbreak dongle is a clon and doesnt work so now i gotta buy a new one

Why buy a new JB dongle? just wait for a FTP to be signed for the CFW
