put blackbox 1.2 on the root of your flashdrive. Make sure its formatted at FAT32. Install blackbox and run it on your ps3. it will come up with a screen saying your ip address. copy down the address and download filezilla to your computer. Type in the ip address, the username is FTPD12345 and password is nothing (leave it blank)

go to hdd0 and then to game, find blus30377 which is mw2 > USDIR> Copy and replace your downloaded patches. when you're done exit it.. then go to your ps3 and hit X to exit. Now load up MW2. go to splitscreen and see if it works, if you get a black screen, it means it doesnt work or the file is probably corrupted.
