i don want to play online but with friends in private match. is this possible to do if i delete the mw2 patches?. and my friends to the same and bypassing the patches? or do i need JB. i know i can hack single player. but that was a little boring since the hacks like unlimited ammo dissapeard after that mission.....

There are about 100 threads already about this, but any way you either need a PSjailbreak or the new 3.55 CFW JB firmware. If you are going to want to get a PSJailbreak stick you will need 2 ps3's one with 3.41 or earlier and your latest to go online.

srry. but can u tell me what 3.55 cfw jb frimware is? a new jb?

Its is basicaly a small update file that adds stuff that a PSJailbreak does, without needing a PSJailbreak, i am using that firmware and running MW2 CL's and stuff, it was easy to install, but sony could be blocking the PS3's that are using it but no one knows yet. so if you want to run modded games i would hold off for abit till there is confirmation about no blocking and stuff
