Post: Fallout 3 DLC

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I was wondering if anyone had any experience loading the Fallout 3 DLC into their JB ps3. I've been trying this since last night, so I figured i'd turn to a forum to help me out. I'll explain my situation first:

Back in October I borrowed the GOTY edition from a friend, played through the game a little bit, then had to return it to him. I noticed the GOTY installed data to my ps3, so automatically i figured that's the DLC. So I thought if I just went to gamestop, bought the original non-GOTY fallout 3, id just be able to use the DLC and call it a day. Well apparently that isnt the case, because as soon as I booted it up it told me there was content that was unavailable, and some things wouldn't load. Then geohot came out with the jailbreak for 3.55, and as soon as i installed it, the first thing that came into mind would be to download and install the DLC pkg files, and hopefully it would work. Well, I downloaded and installed the Broken Steel and Point Lookout pkg, and they come up in my "Game Data" folder on my ps3 as "Fallout 3 DLC" with the right file size, etc, but when I look in the downloads on the main menu of Fallout 3, both of them don't show up. So I went into my file manager, and I noticed there's 2 separate folders, BLUS30185 and BLUS30185DLC. In the DLC folder, theres a subdirectory "NGDRM", and within there is the data folders for the DLC, etc. so ive been moving the data folders, esm files etc into all different directories, trying to get it to work, and still no luck. So my theory is, since the geohot CFW removes the sig check, maybe something along the way isnt getting copied to the right directory, or a file isnt being wirtten correctly, I really havent figured it out.

So pretty much I was wondering if anyone else has tried this, and if they had successfully loaded the DLC into their original fallout 3 disc, and if so, can you help me out? Thanks in advance!

have you checked the region code against the one printed on the side of your game, because if they are different (from different regions) they will not work on your version of the game

Yeah, I definitely checked it when I was messing around with it last night. I know the region code isn't the problem.

...on a side note, if anyone has the original Fallout 3 and legally purchased the DLC, can you just send me the file structure of the BLUS30185 and BLUS30185DLC folders so I can compare? Just to make sure all the files are being copied correctly and everything.
