How to return to official firmware
If you have tried returning to OFC using You must login or register to view this content. then this may be for you.
First off you are going to need to put your PS3 into recovery mode
This is done by starting with the console on standby holding the power button down and keeping your finger on it, you will here a few beeps and the PS3 will shut-down.
Once again press and old the power button you should here one beep followed by another single beep followed by a double beep, when you hear the double beep let go.
If you're having trouble with the above steps this is a good video that i found on YouTube, note it is not my video

Now have your Flash drive with FW on it and a usb cable for your wireless pad ready as you will need them both.
Scroll down the menu to option 6) System update and follow the prompts
This process can take a long time so be patient
