(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I decided to try it myself as I was getting nowhere previously. I have been able to decrypt my EBOOT.BIN file and I extracted the .ELF file. I have hex edited it so the path is changed to dev_hdd0. The only problem I have now is recompiling it and making it into a .pkg file. If anyone can help me out that would be awesome.

Can you send me the .ELF file? I think I can give a shot at recompiling it. Also, what is the title id?

Thanks but I managed to get a pkg. The only problem now is that when I boot the game it bring me back to the XMB. Any solutions? BTW after I install the pkg do I need to move some files back to the PS3 that were used in the creation of the PKG?

How did you get it to turn into a pkg file?

Oh ok. You have a backup of the game right? The PKG alone won't work unless you put the contents of USRDIR of your backed up game into /dev_hdd0/game. For whatever game your region is and whatever title id it has, the folder in /dev_hdd0/game must be something like BLUSXXXXX or BLESXXXXX depending on your region. (XXXXX = Title ID)

I am about to murder 53 people. Look I cant grasp shit what you just said so I will give it another try.

I know how to make the package and everything. The only problem is that when I am editing the elf file do I put

/dev_hdd0/GAMES/BLUS30682-Backup
or
/dev_hdd0/game/BLUS30524-Game

The actual contents of the game are in
/dev_hdd0/GAMES/BLUS30682/PS3_GAME

Should I delete those extra folders?

When I am editing the EBOOT.ELF I see:

/dev_bdvd/PS3_GAME/USRDIR/COMP.BIN

and I change it to:

/dev_hdd0/BLUS3082/USRDIR/COMP.BIN

Is that what I should be changing it to?

Sorry for the late response. I've only just recently noticed you replied back to me.
Okay, you are trying to install Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City correct?

Yes when you are editing the ELF file you would put:

/dev_hdd0/game/BLUS30524

Make sure the actual contents of the game are in the folder indicated above aswell.

Yes that is exactly what you should be changing it to.
Although the confusing part is I thought the game id was BLUS30524 but now it says BLUS3082?
I guess you could try editing that path to:

/dev_hdd0/BLUS30524/USRDIR/COMP.BIN

and then putting the COMP.BIN in that path aswell.
