Post: Problem with decrypting EBOOT.BIN

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi Guys,

I just tried decrypting the EBOOT.BIN file of my backups of Heavenly Sword and Burnout Paradise.

I backed up the Games from my original copies and FTPed the Eboot-File to my PC. There I used the unself command with the latest keys around.
But when I open my decrypted eboot.elf in the Hex-Editor to edit them I just get some weird stuff and can't find "dev_bdvd" or something else.
Here's a picture:

What am I doing wrong?

Have you typed 'unself eboot.bin eboot-mod.elf' yet?

That worked for me Winky Winky.

okay, guys... call me dumb or idiot, but everytime i searched of "dev_bdvd" i mistyped and searched for "dev_bvd" Happy
so everything worked fine but i was too stupid to search for a simple string Happy
a mod can delete this if he wants to ^^
