(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); i know this is the wrong section but it seems this part of the forum is more active no answers on the other forums what happened is i did that method 3.55 to 3.41 but all updates even official firmware by sony says corrupt data. can any 1 help me? stuck in the modified downgrade of the 3.41:confused:

Probably have to put your ps3 into safe mode and make sure your official firmware from sony, 3.55 is in the UPDATE folder as PS3UPDAT.PUP

u cant downgrade 3.55 to 3.41....3.55 cant be downgraded

Yeah you can, Ps news or PSX one of the sites released info on it and a tut was posted here.

try and replace that weird file you put on with filezilla before you down graded if you can i think it blocks something not sure tho

is this true for anyone else or just this poor dude.

Were you doing the downgrade with a slim ps3 or a fat ps3, because i think they said problems could happen if you were to do it on the slim one.

fat ps3 it is

find a download for 3.41 OFW and place it in an UPDATE folder, place that folder in a PS3 folder and place that into the root of a USB which is formated to fat32. then turn ur ps3 off. then hold ur finger on the ON button till it cycles from off>on>off then remove ur finger. place ur finger back on it till you hear 2 beeps in a row (you may hear a beep before the 2 beeps, stay calm and wait for the 2 beeps) then remove ur finger. you should now be in recovery mode and promted to plug in a controller, do so and pick the last option which should be update system. it will search for an update on ur usb and start atomaticaly.
