i just got off the phone with sony: they acted stupid as did i, in the end they said it may result in my ps3 or psn account being shutdown i asked if it would be tempary they said no

Honestly I think Sony is confused. They don't really know what to do with all the people who have the CFW.

It's customer service, they are only told how to handle situation, they aren't up-to-date with everything until Sony comes down and tell them. This guy didn't even know about console banning.

Hell don't be surprised if they don't know about the court case.
