I have been hearing rumblings of being able to install cfw to 3.55 ps3's and that there is now future firmware update that could patch it.
Is that true?

Secondly, I have two ps3's, one on 3.55 and a jb one. Should I keep one jailbroken and then install geohot cfw to my 3.55?
What advantages does cfw have over dongle jailbreaking?

Most importantly is geohot's cfw for sure un-patchable? because if I'm going to install it on my 3.55 ps3 I need to know that I will be able to play online at anytime, and not have to wait for the hacking community to re-hack anything.

Please answer as many questions you can, and feel free to add anything you know about that has happened in the last month and half.
