Host: 192.168.2.4 Username: FTPD12345 Password: N/A Port: 21
So once I type in this information I get a message saying:
Status: Connecting to 192.168.2.4:21...
Status: Connection attempt failed with "ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server".
Error: Could not connect to server
Status: Waiting to retry...
I also tried putting in a password, still nothing. Then I turned off my firewal & still nothing. Can anyone help me out completely like a quick summary or anything useful I can use? Thanks.

make sure your PS3 and PC are using the same connection.. try putting in the IP the black box gives you only and click connect no user or pass needed if that doesnt work try reseting your router :/

When on file manager go 2 "Open The Site Manager" Right above host.
When u opened it. Click on "New Site". Then enter HOST: (YOUR IP).
U dont have 2 fill it out

I was having the same error but what I did was double checked my ip and that's all the information I put in and tada! I was connected. Hope this might be of help to ya...

Try giving your Playstation a static IP address.
