Well if your on geohotz CFW and thinking about changing to
new CFW then install multiman app (very good app\backup app) BEFORE you start changing FW. People have been claming that there apps anit installing e.t.c

this is what i done and everything is going well
i did it on a 2008 80gig phat. . Serial CECHM

Make sure to go back to orginal FW before changing to new CFW to lower the chance of bricking. .

whats a firmwall? your ps3 should update fine if you do it ryt, its 1 of the newer 80gb models with the new nand... i installed straight over geohots cfw and it worked fine
