Install downloaded PS Store Games from PC onto PS3

Note That if your using Network leads your pc and ps3 have to be plug into the router. If your ps3 has wireless but your PC dont have your pc connected to the router by wire and the ps3 by wireless.

2. Now that you install and setup SimpleDNS\Posadis make sure they are running.

3. Download PS3Proxy from here https://www.sendspace.com/file/1s2evy and extract it from the rar to the desktop or something.

4. Now click ps3proxy.exe\ps3proxy and it will display your IP and Proxy port as shown in the picture below.

Take a note of the IP address and port number so that you can enter them in to your ps3 and use them on the pc.

5. Now go to Control Panel then click Network Connections.

6. Once in Network Connections find the connection you are using (wireless or direct) and right click it and go to properties.

7. Left click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) so that it gos blue. Then click properties.

8. Change your primary DNS (Preferred DNS server) to the IP address you took note of in stage 4 and click ok, then ok again to close network properties.

9. Now Click Start on ps3proxy. You will then get this message displayed:

You will see 3 options select file, Enter URL and Clear Redirects they mean:

Select file - Select file means that you have to browser your computer to where you saved your .PKG to (Demos, game updates etc).

Enter URL - Enter URL means that you know the URL of the PS Store thing you wish to install useing proxy. All you have to do is copy the URL of the PS Store thing you wish to install and click ok.

Clear Redirects - This will clear the game file or the URL you selected.

11. Now ever browser and select the PS store file you want to install or copy and paste the URL of the PS store file you wish to install on your ps3 into enter URL. After you have ever Selected the file or you enter URL of the file you wish to install to your ps3 you will see one of the following:

If you selected file it will look something like this:

12. Now Turn on your ps3 and go to network settings. Pick Internet Connection Settings and when it ask you if you want to continue say yes.

13. Pick if you have a wired or wireless, press right then Pick custom Address Settings and press right. Auto-Detect the operation mode of the network device, press right.

14. IP Address Setting pick Auto then Pick auto for MTU and press right.

15. Pick Proxy Use, press right

16. Enter your PC IP Address and Port number the one you took note of in stage 4 (in this case mine was 192.168.1.134 and 8080(May just be 80)).

17. Pick UpNp enabled (doesn't matter much) then Confirm settings and Don't test, and go back to the normal PS3 Menu (aka XMB).

18. Go to the PS3 store

19. Once the ps3 store had loaded up Go to the demos and download any demo as long as it free (Such as Resistance).

Notes: The icon of what the PS3 think your downloading will appear (e.g Resistance) but if you notice the Filesize should be the SAME as the file on your PC or URL you redirected too. The download will begin and the PS3 will automatically install the file in the GAME folder on the XMB.

20. Once installation is complete exit the PS Store and goto GAME on XMB. Whatever you downloaded should be there click it to play.

Notes: If you have downloaded say Lemmings or Super Rub a Dub then to get these working you must first download the STARTER PACK then you install the Activation file to unlock them so that they are no longer the STARTER PACK but the full version (To do this you simply repeat Step 7 and download a free demo which should be redirected to the activation file).
