Please don't use Waninkoko's CFW, it's not very good as it freezes a lot. You can't join chat rooms, and you can't delete messages. GTA: IV doesn't work, along with many other games, and this firmware isn't compatible with PS3s with the NAND size of 256MBs. I'm going back to Geohots, and I suggest you do too.

I appreciate the translation lol after backing games up on this CFW & then reinstalling back to Geohots, does it render the backups useless again ? Im afraid to ask the guy who started this thread as its so hard deciphering bad punctuation

It freezes for the first few hours, try rebooting a few times, it should work flawlessly

Yeah, back ups wont work anymore, but with Wutangrza's CFW supposedly the things needed for back ups are enabled.

I'm not exactly sure how it works because it looks exactly the same as the CFW, so I'm just waiting on a backup manager.

If you absolutly need back ups, deal with the freezing of Waninkoko's CFW, if you can wait a few days. Pick up Wutangrza's.

From what I found there was no reports of bricking.

So Waninkoko & Wutangrza are completely different ppl ? lol i thought someone typo'd lol whats with these W hackers from the land of Woonangoo lol up to this point i only knew of Geohot, Failoverflow, Kakaroto & only recently Waninkoko, thanks for the update though, ill be looking to Wutangrza's for sure

There's a link. It should look exactly like OFW. If you do install it... Make sure it's in this order

OFW >>> Wutangrza >>> Geohot.

Then you're on Geohots firmware with Peek and Poke enabled.
