Put any game in the disc drive, then go to launch it in MultiMan press No when the message comes up, then just launch the game like you would any game (clicking the disc icon on the XMB)

Tried that, would it be because im trying to boot the game from an external USB drive rather than the internal HDD because when I try to copy the game from the external USB drive to the internal HDD multiman just freezes up?

Yeah most likely, back it up to the internal HDD and test to see if it works
