Sony will bring a new firmware. This will enable your jailbreak.

But... If I were you I don't update untill it's safe to update with a Jailbroken PS3 becouse Sony may be ban you.

The safest way when there is a Sony update is to go back to the OFW.

If you still have the CFW yes you will get banned, but in my opinion just get all you need with the CFW for example, if you want to host challenge lobbyes just put the hacks in you ps3 and go back to OFW and stay like that. If you need something again put it back and right after your done with it just go back to the OFW firmware. Thats wat i am doing right now.... Hope i helped

ya i went back to ofw and i still have install file packages and comgenie's awesomefile manager listed under game. so i guess its all good and i can still overwrite patches without cfw.

if you installed the OFW you shouldn't have the install pkg folder anymore;

i still do, and i know for a fact that im on ofw, because what i did was i had to take the geohot jb off my flashdrive and get the ofw 3.55 update from the playstation network and i put it on my flashdrive and did an update via media storage, and it restored it to ofw, and it still left those two things on there. idk what to tell u but thats what happened.

cuz i went back to OFW yestrdayy and i stilll got the file managers but i don't got the install folder

no i cant, i actually just went online, and its not there, the only thing i have left is comgenies awesome file manager and ftp blackbox. so i think what happened was it went to ofw, and since i was online all night it would stay there, and i had to turn my ps3 off and now i turned it on, its gone, so i guess it did a refresh, but ya its gone.
