(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys i have already installed the cfw known to brick and it installed correctly but for the life of me cannot get back ups working. I used rogero v7.8 and told it to look in /dev_hdd0/GAMEZ/. So i put my back ups in there. And when i exit blackb0x and go into rogero i see the games ready to play and everything but when i play dead rising 2 i get a black screen but can still use the ps button to scroll. ive tried this with 2 other games. red dead redemption and ac brotherhood both gave me a black screen and cant use xmb.

Thank you for your hellp

I thought you are supposed to put the games/ back ups in "dev_hdd0/game/LAUN12345/GAMEZ", i didn't have a Laun1245 folder but i still made one then i made the GAMEZ folder then i put madden nfl 11.. but got the same result.. i used multiman tho, i started up the game and it became a black screen and i couldnt use xmb either.. =/ but try putting it on "dev_hdd0/game/LAUN12345/GAMEZ'' cuz i think madden itself doesnt work or i got a bad copy.

This is how I use my backups
1. Backup with rogero
2.Make sure ANY blu-ray disc is in the disk drive (ps3 game or blu-ray)
3. Click load game in rogero
4. Click on the cd image (if you look the game name should have changed to the backup)

Quote me if you have any more problems

Thanks markinatorz thats the same way i've been doing it but i get to the step where the cd image says the game i backed up so i click it and it just looks like its about to boot but just stays black :( when i loaded the game in rogero i asks me to fix the eboot permissions so i do, maybe thats the prob? also for ac brotherhood it asks me to patch/fix the param.sfo to 3.41 cause it says its 3.50.

To fix a games PARAM.SFO file press L1 + Square while in rogero
To restore a games PARAM.SFO file press L1 + Start

Im guessing you need the L1 + square one
