Yes, if you click copy then no to backing up to the internal HDD, it will say do you want to copy to external (insert devices name here)

Not too sure about multiman, as I use rogero but there must be someway of doing it on multiman

It works with both, i have both installed and works fine.

You just have to be carefull when you start copying, because it will ask you 1st if you want to copy to internal hard drive.
Say no to that and it should jump to the next available device, which should be your external one,say yes to that one.
