2) You need a backup manager like multiman or rogero, you can copy games to internal disk pressing circle, or create a backup from a game on a bluray disc (forgot which button atm but is explained inside the backupmanager).

As far as i know i dont think it is possible to backup Red Dead Redemption unfortunately

Which Backupmanager do you use? Do you get an error while trying to copy data onto your ps3 hdd?

I used open manager and it copied fine i just couldnt figure out what to do after that

Do you have an icon named "/app_home/PS3_GAME" above "install packages" in the "GAME" section in your XMB? If so, open your backupmanager, choose Red Dead Redemption and press X to load it. You will be kicked into XMB again.

Choose the icon "/app_home/PS3_GAME" - Your game should show up as if the disc was in your blu ray drive. Press X to start it.

(this is how it works in multiman and rogeros, hope it's the same in open)

€: SHIT, you have geohot running. That means, you have to edit your EBOOT.BIN, otherwise the game won't run (please correct me if I'm wrong). Or you change your cfw to Waninkoko (first check if your console is compatible, otherwise BRICK!!!) or Wutangrza..
