My Name is Billy your probably aware of Custom Firmware I just need to know is it all legal will I get banned on PSN for using Custom Firmware. So if id want to use Homebrew Like FTP Server or A game some one made and i was online while using the homebrew will i get banned??

Q.2

If I had a homebrew Back up manager and i copy my own payed for games on my playstation 3 and and played online on the coped games will i get banned?

Q.3

People say if I had Custom Firmware on my playstation and sony realised a new update say like 3.60 and i update my playstation 3 console be bricked (Blank screen dose nothing) is that true??

Is all this Legal or illegal

Ok so CFW is not illegal.

Sony have and will always have the rights to ban people using CFW on their network. (We own machine not PSN)

If you run any Homebrew unsigned by Sony and they find out yes they can ban from PSN.

Sony can NOT brick your PS3.
