(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); 1.Usb: Call it ps3 and then put a update and then put the ps3 UPDATE file in the UPDATE folder
put in the ps3!

2.Recover mode: holdthe ps3 button down till it turns off. Hold the ps3 button to turn it back on wait till you here 3 fast beeps and let go. It should say plug your ps3 contoller in to the usb and turn it on.

3. For the Update: Go down to the update option in recovery mode and it should say hold SELECT and START to find the file. Make sure you have usb with update file on it plugged into ps3! haha

4. Now: Just wait for it to find the file and relax while it updates back to OFW. It does not delete any files on your ps3 it only goes back to OFW and keeps ftp server and everything!Found useful please rep!
