(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Alright so can I play my backups with a blank Blu-ray cd? Cause I have a Verbatim BD-R and it says 25gb and 6x speed on it. When I put the disc in my ps3 it does not show up in the xmb. Is this because when the first downgrade came out I did it and it took out the Blu-ray feature. If so how can I get it back.

Just put in any PS3 cd you have when you want to boot a game, when you lauch the game with the backup manager it will change the name of the cd to whatever backup you tried to launch and click that and youll load the game, if that game is able to work

Oh, im sorry I miss understood.

I don't think so, I think the whole point of needing a REAL ps3 disc is to fool the PS3 into thinking when you launch the game from your HDD its really reading the disc, so it needs to be a signed ps3 disc

Can’t trickshot me!
Sony has taken many preventions towards this. Slapping a ISO on a blue-ray disk will not make it appear in the xmb. To play this game open a back up manager up and navigate to the blue-ray drive. Here you will be able to launch your game. !!!I think if you have done everything correct!!!
