(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Updated to 1.13.01 and I deleted the 1.13 version first and now there is a permanent corrupted data icon in the xmb. Any ideas how to get rid of it?

nope wont move gone back to old one but that one cant get rid of

Format ps3? Would be best option unless there's a way to delete it. Usually you can delete it. And you shouldn't have deleted the first one, overwrite would've helped.

what to do is, install ftp server if you dont have it already, do you actually know what got corrupted or was it a game either way go on your computer and connect the ftp and look for a game folder you dont have on your ps3 anymore but should still be there and delete it

I don't think it would show up because he deleted the first 1 then installed new 1 , then gt corrupted

Edit: that is true but its obviously a file that is saved on the ps3 so it will still be there (so might not be multiman could be another homebrew app)

got told Go to recovery and fix your filesystem. After that you will be able to see and get rid of those corrupt data icons. I had the same problem.

but will it delete my games from harddrive on ps3

it wont delete games from HDD becuase it fixes corrupted system files.
