YLOD is a hardware malfunction...not a software malfunction...

Edit: You can try the old tricks (hairdryer or wrap PS3 in towel) but they will most likely won't work...your better off buying another PS3

No, Trust me right after the firmware was done It showed a yellow light , and i know its not hardware because i sent it in a week a go and they gave me a totally new ps3.
