i started the downgrade using the ps3key jig
everything went good until the downgrading it gave me (for 2 hours long) a flashing green light. i decided to turn it of and now when i boot my ps3 it shuts itself down after 5 seconds. my usb drive died in this process and all it gives me is a black screen..

Hmm, sounds well and truly bricked. i would either ring sony up saying you was on FW3.41 and when you tried to upgrade to 3.55 and it broke or w.e
I would make a story like you only just got the Internet or what ever..

No problems.. or u could
try the resetting your PS3 which is just holding down your power button until you get 1 bleep & then 2 consecutive bleeps.. that might work but i doubt it, worth a try though. :y:

tried that. didnt work searched google and found something im trying that now .
