I copied both of them with blackbox and ran the lv2 patcher. I loaded the game in multiman and it replaced the name of my disc with the backup's name, but when I started RDR I just got a black screen. The same thing happens for COD4 except it shows the logo for a few seconds then goes into a black screen.

I would appreciate any help so that I didn't waste all my time only to get nothing to work. Thanks

Try accessing the boot menu of your ps3.. While ps3 is off hold power button until you hear one beep then one more beep and ps3 will shut off. Release power button. Hold power button again wait for one beep then a double beep. Release power button. Message will appear telling you to connect a controller via cord then hit ps button. Scroll down to restore system files and hit "x". This will not delete anything but "refresh" your system. Your system will restart and you will receive one more message stating that your files are corrupt and need to be restored. Great your done.

Try your games once more!

RDR works fine now and COD4 still has a black screen but I heard that it doesn't work for 3.55 yet anyway. Finally got this to work, thanks for the tip though.
