when you are on CFW you can install Emulator's or other Homebrew

when you change back to original Firmware Emulator and Homebrew will still work except the Back up Managers
you cant play backups with original Firmware!

what do you mean with "i dont want to restore my ps3"

from Geohot 3.55 back to OFW 3.55

1. get the original firmware from the sony website and put it nto a usb, put that file into a folder called UPDATE and put that folder into another folder called PS3
2. remove all power from your ps3, with the slim remove the cord and with the fat use the switch
3. insert the usb
4. give your ps3 power again
5. start you ps3 into safe mode to do this
hold the power button on your ps3 until you hear 3 beeps and it turns back off. then hold the power button again until you hear two beeps right after each other. get your controller connected to the ps3 with your charging wire, and select update system (not sure what its actually called
but you get the idea) you will now go back to OFW and you still get to keep all your pkg's since they are now signed
