I want to know this also but im running 3.41 firmware with ps3key to spoof 3.55
Is it safe to download the update as normal when it asks or is there another way to install a patch for backups

I installed a patch from brewology for NFS:HP
Installed the .pkg for it but it went to a black screen, but when the patch isnt there its abolsutely fine...
How come the patch gives you a black screen? :S

If you are using an eboot pkg you can't package or it won't work.

If you are using kmeaw's it will be fine.

I backed up FNV on geohot then downloaded the modified eboot .pkg and ddd that got it to work then i installed the patch and it went away now i cant find the modified eboot for US FNV

Just tried it, it gave me an error after installing that it is already at a higher version and when I try to bypass it says I don't have enough room on my ps3, which I do ofc
