Yeh but every tutorial I read says copy the game from your external hd and have it plugged in via usb

i Copy all my games from a disc to my external HDD (u can copy it to ur internal but i only have 40gb its not much)
go in ur backupmanager-put the game u want backup in ps3-click in backupmanager COPY (most the X button ) on the game - then click yes and it backup to ur internal (for external click no and then yes )
