You would need to go into your router's gateway and put your PS3 into the DMZ. (Demilitarized Zone) Which basically opens all ports so your NAT Type becomes Open.

Step 1: Give your PS3 a static IP and remember it. (192.168.1.xxx) - any number 2-255 (I make it 241 because there is a great chance there not 241 devices on your network.)

Step 2: Go into your router's gateway and find somewhere where it says DMZ.

Step 3: Put in your PS3's Static IP you gave it and your done.

Note: Your gateway might be different than the one I wrote. In Command Prompt type "ipconfig" without quotations to find out your routers gateway.

Here's a video tutorial not made by me:

If you need any help just ask.

Simple Bro.

As stated clearly by patriots fan:

Step 1) Give/Check your Ip Address of you PS3
(System Settings>System Info)
(Here is will say IP Address which will appear in a 8 digit code.)

Step 2) Go on your computer, any router doesn't matter (operates through the cable/internet provider regardless)
**Once on ur Computer go to CMD **
(Start>Run>CMD)
Once here type in IP config OR netsend -n
(this will bring up a 1) your IP or 2) a List of the IP addresses on ur network) however all that is needed is IPconfig.

Once you type that in it will bring up a system code:
Static- xxx.xxx.x.x
Not Important- xxx.xxx.x.x
Not Important- xxx.xxx.x.x

Step 3) Copy whatever is next to "Static" in CMD (this is the computer's IP address.

Step 4) GO to your internet browser, and in the ADDRESS BAR paste the static Ip address of your COMPUTER (Not PS3)

Step 5) When the router settings come up go to the TextField corresponding to the DMZ setting. (matches ur PS3 Console)
Once here, just put ur PS3s IP address in that TextField.

Then save settings, and exit.... DONE

Forgot to mention, some routers do not support DMZ. If your router does not have DMZ, you could always go to portforward.com to find out how to forward your ports.
