I jailbreaked my PS3 with GeoHotz firmware and then starting hosting CLs for a week. Then, I put back the normal Retail firmware from Sony's website and deleted Comgnie's Awesome File Manager and deleted MW2 and CoD4's game save data and installed the original ones.

MW2 and CoD4 is BROKEN on the PS3. 95% of the games you get into are HACKED. I really hate playing MW2 and CoD4 now and wish we could just go back to normal lobbies like we used to have.

SO NOW, my questions are:

1. Is Sony/Infinity Ward going to fix this? Patch the PS3 and somehow make it so that everything is back to normal, with no hacked lobbies like there used to be?

2. If they do fix it, will I get banned for having GeoHotz firmware at one time? I mean, I'm clean now and against Hacked Lobbies and have nothing to do with them now. Will they ban me if they check my log and see that I had hacked firmware?

Thanks to whoever answers, if they aren't going to patch it then I might as well sell my PS3 for an Xbox 360.

Why would they ever fix it? It's a year old game. And no one knows if they'll get banned for having GeoHot's firmware yet. These are just common facts that you could have answered yourself via Google.

XBOX can be just as bad as PS3, but w/e floats your boat.

1. I'm pretty sure they're going to have a hard time doing that or might not even do that at all...
2. If you're not modding on MW2, No. If you are talking about sony, probably not...

@sauronith: There's not even close to the amount of hackers on Xbox as there is on PS3. I'm not a console fanboy, but Xbox has wayyy less hackers than PS3.
