Post: How do i take off " Install package files"

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'm trying to make my ps3 normal again and the only thing that wont go away is the " install package files " the other thread said to update back to the 3.55 firmware how do i do that?

You put the official 3.55 in your USB under PS3>UPDATE. In there, rename the file PS3UPDAT.PUP. Then update to that and update the same way you did as the CFW.

You need to remove your CFW.

Install the Original Sony 3.55 Firmware:
You must login or register to view this content.

Put it on your USB stick, and Update via Storage device on your PS3 like you did with the CFW.
You'll still get to keep your homebrew once your on the Original Firmware! Happy
