This is caused by a few different things, one could be that you installed Waninkoko's CFW, which i heard that took away Blu-Ray Playback. It can also be caused by you downgrading, if you have a backup of your ps3, you can restore and i think that should fix the problem. Or else search on google or here if someone has those files you need.

But a fix would really help, just spend over £100 on blu rays

Yeah probably somewhere along the way when you downgraded, your Blu-Ray playback got lost... :/

theres fixes up there.. you may have to downgrade to 3.41 to fix your blueray playback
