(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I am running geohot's CFW 3.55. I'm going to go back to OFW 3.55 then upgrade to 3.56. However, there is a problem; When I put the OFW (The one from SONY's website) onto my flash drive in a folder called UPDATE in a folder called PS3, the update isn't recognized. Even stranger, when I check my PS3's info, it says I am running 3.55 and not 3.55-jb. I still have the option to install PKG files from the XMB. Help? :jim:

Anybody? Will I get banned if I update directly from Geohot's CFW?

First to update back to ofw 3.55 you have to do it through the recovery menu, the same thing happened to me, geohot only patched a part of the fw so when you originally installed it once you restarted your ps3 its goes back to 3.55 when its actually still 3.55-jb and lastly you wont get banned if you update directly from geohot's CFW as i tryed this early on
