if i put my ps3 into recovery mode manaully and then put the lvl2 file onto usb and start+select would it find the file and then allow me to install 3.55 ofw then install 3.55 cfw again:hitman:

srry not happening. sony add more files to the new update which most likely prevent that -__-. but if u still think it will change something go for it but be warned if something should go wrong with ur ps3 u will pay the price of a possible bricked ps3

i no its my only ps3 i got but hey i risked it with puttin the cfw that had brickin issues so ive risked alot so far

Recovery mode won't do in you need factory mode, which can be done with a calculator or jailbreak, but im not sure it'll work to downgrade 3.56 like it did 3.55 or 3.50.

i honestly dont think it would work, it might brick ur ps3 system. 3.56ofw its hard to work on since it got new security patches and stuff. just be patience my friend, hopefully someone will come out with new 3.56 cfw. just need time.

i agree with K20a3 just be patience and wait for a new CFW

sony is all over this sight they have people looking at what we are doing so there is going to be alot of updates before we can make one that sony cant patch

what this site needs is 2 not allow any person who is a guest to view any posts and most of all a disclaimer statin

"be involded with sony in any way shape or form"

then if they brake that disclaimer they can then b sued for wotever it is they call it these days
