Post: Help transfering game from PC to PS3

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I downloaded my first backup, red dead redemption of 8GB and I have to transfer it to my 16Gb pendrive that is empty. The problem is that I cannot put the backup on the pendrive because it is formatted to FAT32 as ps3 only recognises FAT32, and this format does not let me put the game on the pendrive because it has a single file of around 7Gb.
The question is, how do you all put your games into your external HDDs or pendrives? Cause I can't do it normally..

What exactly does it tell you when you try to put in on the Flashdrive?

I defeated!
red dead has one big file and cannot be backed up straight to your internal or external hard drive.
you need to extract the big file which is about 7 gb with Comgenie's Filemanager.
now this will take about 2 hours to transfer with filezilla as well, one you have don that use split4g to make the parts smaller once that's done delete the 7 gb and transfer the smaller bits back to where us transferred the 7 gb file from then use regero or whatever to load back to your internal or external hard drive.
hope this helps.
