I Installed LV2 Patcher ( the latest one)

I am using Gaia Manager ( this one : You must login or register to view this content.

I Ran LV2 Patcher pressed X to close ran Gaia manager backed up Call of Duty Black Ops tried to run it : DIDNT WORK it happend same as on geohots it throws u to XMB

HELP PLS

Most of the new back ups already have the lv2 on them so you don't have to run it. And If your on kmeaw 3.55 install the latest multiman 1.14.01 I think or the new gaia and yes it is supposed to be taking you back to the XMB. Also make sure you already have a game inside that is a Blue-ray original PS3 game. When you go into Gaia you click X to load the game, it takes you back to the XMB. You then go to where you would usually launch your game (The blue disc) and it should say Call Of Duty: Black Ops. I use MultiMan right now since it's the most reliable for me. In MultiMan when you load the game it asks you "Would you like to launch the game straight from here or launch from XMB" or what it says you click no, then that takes you back to the XMB too, do the same thing as Gaia go over the blue disc it should say Call Of Duty: Black Ops.

IM gonna try this and does it have to be the actual disk of this game i wanna play or can i put in for example Unchardet 2 and run Black ops ? +rep

i posted a simalar thread a few weeks ago of how i got black ops to run from backup yes u need a disk in drive

go to hdd0/games and replace the 3 files

eboot.bin
t5ps3
and the other 1

with the 3 same files from hdd0/game and then the bles folder of the game

i found it ran after doin this from backup and ddnt run b4 doin this

It can be absolutely any Blu-ray Original PS3 Game, so yes you can put in Uncharted 2 and play Black Ops. The poster above me has a more complicated tutorial. My way has been working for me for a very long time I am still able to play online on cFW Kmeaw 3.55 with the bypass. And btw the back up you want to play, is downloaded or backed up from the original disk?

I Thought on Kmeaws CFW no need to replace eboot.bin and stuff

yes i backed it up on Gaia Manager and btw it didnt ask me if i want to run it directly from HDD it just asked Copy BDVD to HDD0

i was on kmeows aswell but after doin this it played from backup before hand it black screened try it out

Oh sorry, I wasn't very clear earlier, it only asks you to launch from XMB on MultiMan not Gaia. Gaia you must run it from XMB you not given a choice. MultiMan 1.14.1 is available at Psgroove, download the base one for Kmeaw/GH 3.55

it can only b run from hdd once it copied if u play it without copying then ur defeating the object once u backed it up click launch and see if it plays it should take u bak to xmb n the disk in ur drive ie " uncharted" should say "call of duty black ops" if it plays fer enough if not try wot i sed and c wot happens then

2. now to these 2 points hdd0/games : hdd0/game

On the /games you said replace the 3 files : /games is this the backup folder?

and /game is this the Disk folder?

btw is your method needed for all games or only blackops?
