(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); PS3 owners will soon be able to save their games in the 'Cloud' rather than their HDD, a new report has claimed.

Kotaku alleges that Sony has already informed developers of the feature, which will make it possible for users to pull save games from their PSN onto various Cloud-enabled devices... like the NGP (PSP2).

However, it's not all smelling of roses: according to the site's sources, the service will only be available to PSPlus subscribers.

In addition, developers will be able to opt out of adding the feature to their titles, so it won't necessarily be available in all your favourite games.

Still, a taste of the future, right? Sony's reportedly calling the feature "Online Saving", and it'll be made available as part of the PS3's upcoming 3.60 firmware update.

The firm's NGP (PSP2) will be released this year in at least one territory, according to the platform holder. Claps
