(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I apologize if this has been posted. First of all I would like to confirm that data transfer from CFW 3.55 to OFW 3.56 is not only possible but it worked without hick-upClaps. I updated my OFW 3.41 to CFW 3.55 simply for ease of use and so far I'm without regret. As for the process of updating to OFW 3.56 from CFW 3.55 I did this without any issue. No ban! I think the only people who are experiencing an issue are those who messed with Black Opps. Please read this thread and for god sakes stop posting your ****ing theories as if they are fact. If you have a question ask it, if you have knowledge share it, if you have nothing shut the **** up.:bat:

I wonder though. Is it possible to do a data transfer from 3.56 to 3.55 CFW? And if so does your 3.55 CFW stay 3.55 CFW after the transfer? The reason I want to do this is because I have a lot of stuff on my 3.56 that I don't want to lose. I thought I could just transfer everything to 3.55 and then change my patch and transfer back. Then I could transfer back from 3.55 to 3.56 when I update the patch and everything else will be ok because the same stuff is on both systems.
Does anyone know if doing data transfer from 3.56 to 3.55 CFW will transfer the update also?

Do you think you could do a written tut. On how to put new patches onto 3.56 instead of being limited to the one you last had on 3.55 CFW?

I hope someone can verify whether you transfer firmware when doing a data transfer. I understand you don't if going from an older one to a newer one, but what about transferring from 3.56.to 3.55.

Many have verified this using 3.41 you will update FW if you transfer backwards.

Yes it will also transfer the update so you won't want to do this. I know that this seems like good advice with bad timing but for next time you should always back up your data prior to update. That way you won't lose anything. Better safe than sorry you know.

There is already a tutorial on how to do this. Here is a link to coderealitys video this is very detailed and informative. Hope this helps. [ame]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OPHStxUd9iw[/ame]
