CFW installing problem - NextGenUpdate

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello, I want to install waninkokos v2 CFW on my friends console, but its not working. It worked on my console.
But when I do it on his one, Im getting this Error: "8002F2C5". It says the data is corrupt. I also tried it in Recovery Mode.
He is on OFW 3.55, he never had a CFW yet. Could anyone help me please?

mate is could be the download link try downloading it from another website. *also try reinstalling the original 3.55 then the CFW after. Hope this helps :O

edit: OMG sorry, I just noticed that Ive posted it in the wrong section, sorry...

try reinstalling the OFW but do a system restore before anything and try putting the Custom Firmware after Winky Winky

hmmmm... just a wild guess, but try downloading v1 first maybe? +rep if it works please

Thank you guys, but nothing worked of what u said. I tried to reformat his hdd and then it worked! Thanks anyway, this thread can be closed now, problem solved Winky Winky

heyy guys im really new to this stuff
i hav a ps3 slim and im on the official 3.56 firmware
i tried updating to my CFW but i get the same error tht its corrupted
i tried recovery mode and i formatted my usb
help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
