Are you running COD5 on the CFW? Did you back the game up?

If you change the language of your PS3 it doesn't affect the game, it should still run normally.
I often got a Black Screen when going on COD5 when i tried to bypass the game with Resistance: Fall of Man. But I'm not sure with your problem. Did you delete any Save Data or the Patch of the game?

Have you changed the patch of any of the files to do with WAW? and is this when you load up the game or when you try play online?

i did backup the game and didnt changed anything

u have to lv2 patch it and then fix permissons that should work

have you tried booting the game off the latest multiman? i think this has fixed some of the black screen games....i think you press select and x....

let us know how you go because i will try my waw backup tomorrow

delete cod from home data then downlaode back

I got same problem with 3D dot gae heroes

i downloaded it, even installed a pkg to get it to work

i have it on intern and extern hdd still black screen :S

i think there are games that you cant play
