since the external harddrive has to be FAT32 format it cant handle games that have files in them that are larger than approx 4GB and therefor has to split them into parts to store them on the harddrive. free up some space on the internal harddrive and then xfer the 'split games' to it and try to run it from the internal. if the games are still 'split' then your going to need to hook up your external harddrive to a computer and run an unsplitting program on the split files and ftp the BIG file over to your ps3 in the right location.

Yes I can run it on internal but it takes up so much space. Are you suggesting I take the split game from my external hd then put it on Spilt4G and it will work?

no.. there is no way to run games on an external that have split files. any games that have theese split files can ONLY be run from the internal. however not all games have files larger than 4gb, for example i have LBP2, Assasins Creed: Brotherhood, and call of duty blackops running from my external harddrive.

Could medal of honor be run like that?

i dont know if medal or honor could be run like that because i do not have the game and therefor can not make a backup of it
