The thing he posted seriously WORKS! My friend bricked his PS3 when trying to downgrade to 3.15 and we just flashed 3.41 on it. So i recommend this method! Just download Kmeaw´s CFW ( ~ 170 MB ) and go through the tutorial. At the end you will see yourself on 3.55 Kmeaw. But beware: From 3.56 you can ONLY downgrade to 3.55! From there you can only downgrade to 3.41. If you´r on 3.41 you can do simply everything. But you i´m not responsible if anything happens.

Foresken_truce is correct. Once you update to 3.56 there is no going back and if you try you might brick your Playstation 3.

there is a method may it works.Go to system restore and it will delete all files and maybe 3.56 too
