I know how to do and everything but I have a couple of questions before i do it. First Is can you still play online with a downgraded ps3 with my friends that didnt hack theirs without being banned?? Second one Can I go back to the official sony firmware? Lastly Can you change your mac address? the reason why I wanna know is because I was banned from Metal Gear Solid 4 old game but its really fun and I was wondering if i can change it so i can play online again? btw im not banned from psn! Yes you can still play online if you have downgrade your PS3, but I am not sure if the downgrade still works. But if you have downgraded your PS3 you can simply just upgrade your PS3 to the latest firmware and than you can play online. And now you won't get banned or anything and you can still play with your friends.

I am not sure about the Mac Address thing, all I know is that you can not change your Mac Address, maybe in the future but not now.
